Luis Cañas Fermentado en Barrica ("fermented in barrel") is a superb white wine from D.O. La Rioja. It is a coupage from grape varieties Viura (85%) and Malvasía (15%), from older vineyards than 50 years. Malolactic fermentation in new French (75%) and American (25%) during 3 months. The result is volume and great body wine. It is perfect with steak tartar, cod fish, paella/rice dishes, Iberic tapas, blue and soft cheeses.
Origin: La Rioja.
Alcohol: 13.5%
